Dr. Tannous strongly advocates that every inmate, whether in state, federal, or county facilities, completes the entire handbook, 472 pages, 8 Modules, over 70 topics, each inmate is required to answer five questions per topic and write an essay, prior to release. Once completed they may earn a "Relationships Coach Certificate." He envisions institutions worldwide adopting its principles, ensuring that incarcerated individuals understand how to avoid relapse into criminal conduct. The author, drawing from his firsthand experience as a former Chairperson of the RDAP Tutor’s Committee, within the Federal Bureau of Prisons, provides guidance that aligns with evidence-based practices shown to foster personal growth and improved decision-making skills.
